The useful short answer

At Parkline, mobile detailing currently starts at $149 for a maintained sedan, $249 for a Signature Detail and $349 for a condition-based Reset Detail. Larger SUVs and three-row vehicles cost more because they add surface area, interior volume and working time. Those are service prices, not an artificially low wash price followed by a surprise quote at the driveway.

The better question is not only what a detail costs. It is what condition the vehicle is in, what result you expect and which steps are actually included. A $100 service that skips the work your vehicle needs can be more expensive than choosing the right scope once.

02

What changes a mobile detailing quote

Vehicle size is the most predictable variable. A coupe has fewer seats, less carpet and less exterior area than a three-row SUV. Condition is the second variable and usually the more important one. Normal dust and light road film are very different from embedded pet hair, spilled drinks, heavy staining, sap or months of accumulated debris.

Service depth matters too. Maintenance work preserves a known baseline. A deeper detail adds time for interior agitation, spot treatment, exterior decontamination and longer-lasting protection. Extraction, odor treatment or headlight restoration are separate tasks because not every vehicle needs them.

  • Maintenance Detail: from $149 for sedans, intended for vehicles already in good condition.
  • Signature Detail: from $249 for sedans, with deeper cabin care and exterior decontamination.
  • Reset Detail: from $349 for sedans, with condition-based recovery work.
  • SUV, XL and optional treatment pricing is shown before you submit a reservation.

Why mobile service is priced differently from a wash

A conventional wash optimizes throughput. Mobile detailing optimizes the result on one vehicle at a time. Travel, setup, separate tools for different surfaces, a condition review and final inspection are part of the appointment. You are also keeping the hours that would otherwise be spent driving to a shop and waiting or arranging transportation.

That convenience only has value when the operating standard is clear. Ask whether wheels use separate tools, whether the wash method is paint-conscious, what happens if weather interrupts the visit and whether the quoted protection is actually included.

How to avoid a surprise adjustment

Describe the vehicle honestly and attach useful condition photos. Show the driver area, rear seats, carpets and the worst area—not six flattering exterior angles. Remove personal items so the detailer can see the surfaces that need work. Parkline reviews the submitted condition and route before confirming the appointment.

Severe pet hair, biological contamination, mold, pests or heavy staining cannot be responsibly treated as an ordinary maintenance detail. If the scope needs to change, the price should be discussed before work begins.

05

Choosing the right starting point

Choose Maintenance when the vehicle has a recent professional baseline and mainly needs normal dust, road film and light interior use removed. Choose Signature when the cabin and exterior both need deliberate attention. Choose Reset when the interior condition is the main problem or the vehicle has gone a long time without a thorough service.

For many Highland Park daily drivers, Signature is the sensible first appointment. After that baseline, a recurring maintenance visit usually becomes the more economical way to keep the car composed.
